Nnamdi Nnake is a PhD Candidate researching communications technology history in Africa. His thesis examines the history of the electric telegraph in Nigeria with primary focus on its intersections with material culture and the political economy. Nnamdi is a James Robertson Carruthers Memorial Scholar and a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow.
