About:
Nicole Dalmer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Aging and Society at McMaster University. She is also the Associate Director of the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging. Nicole’s current work examines the impact of social and digital infrastructures on feelings of connectedness in later life while reflecting on questions of social status and social inequality that surround and shape ageing and technology debates. She is a member of the Aging in Data Partnership Grant, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
